An international appeal to societies for Slovenian children of the new era
A loving and respectful call to seek solutions in a time of artificial intelligence, rapid change and children whom society no longer understands well enough.
From Slovenia we send a calm appeal to parents, educators, institutions, media, humanitarian organisations and all people of good will. Not as an attack. Not as an accusation. As a request to look at children together and search for new solutions with Love.
Children are not the problem. Children are a message of our time. As the world changes through AI and rapid development, societies, families and schools must learn as well.
Child
A child is not a problem. A child is a living being with an inner world.
When a child is silent, cries out, withdraws or can no longer cope, adults should ask what the child’s environment, distress and our response are telling us.
Family
Parents need support, not shaming.
A parent who points to a child’s distress needs a calm path, listening, facts and help, so that they can remain a stable voice for the child.
School
Educators need new tools, not accusations.
Teachers and carers do demanding work. Children of the new era require more training for sensitivity, giftedness, inner speed and difference.
Society
Because of AI and rapid change, society must develop new answers.
If children are becoming more restless, exhausted or misunderstood, this is not only a personal issue. It is an invitation for society to seek solutions with more heart.
Why this appeal is being made
This appeal is being made because many parents, educators and people of good will notice that conditions for children are changing faster than the systems meant to support them.
Some families and children experience school, social and emotional pressures as unbearable. When a child breaks down, withdraws, resists or loses joy, adults should not first look for blame. We must first look for understanding.
AI, speed and children of the new era
Artificial intelligence and the digital environment are changing how we learn, communicate and understand the world. Children are growing up in a reality different from that of previous generations.
Some children develop extremely fast. Some feel more than they can say. Some understand connections that adults do not yet know how to place. That is why society needs more knowledge, calm, patience and Love.
This is not a call against the system
This appeal is not written against teachers, carers, professionals, parents, schools, centres, institutions or the state. These people and systems are often overburdened themselves.
We are not looking for an enemy. We are looking for a path. We do not destroy. We build. We do not accuse. We alert and invite cooperation.
What we need
We need more Love in our relationship with children, more knowledge about highly sensitive and exceptionally capable children, more support for parents and more support for educators.
We need cooperation among family, school, professionals, institutions and community. We also need caution when speaking publicly about children, so that their privacy and dignity are protected.
Messages to key groups
To parents
Remain the child’s voice, but also the child’s peace. A child needs protection, not public exposure; stability, facts and a responsible path.
To educators
This appeal is not against you. It is a request to open space together for new knowledge, new approaches and more support for work with children of the new era.
To institutions
Every procedure and every communication concerning a child affects the child’s inner life. We ask for more listening, holistic checking and respectful language.
To the media
Children are not material for public conflict. We ask for language that does not expose children, create hatred or turn distress into sensation.
To the European and global public
The question of children is not only a Slovenian question. In a time of AI and rapid change, it is a question of the future of all societies.

- We do not attack individuals, professions, institutions or countries.
- We do not use a child’s story for public shaming or pressure.
- We do not publish children’s personal data, school documents, health information or sensitive circumstances.
- We encourage calm communication, gathering facts, cooperation and a responsible path.
- A child’s safety, privacy and dignity come before public exposure.
- Love means warmth and responsibility, not chaos and not the denial of boundaries.
Short public statement for sharing
Children are not the problem. Children are a message of our time. In a world of artificial intelligence and rapid change, we need more Love, more knowledge and more support for parents, educators and children. We are not looking for blame. We are looking for solutions.
Children are not the future only because they will one day grow up. Children are the future now.
The way we speak with a child today is the way we build tomorrow’s world.
Therefore we ask for more Love, more listening, more patience, more understanding, more support for parents, more support for educators and more protection for children.
